Being prepared for a potential violent situation can make all the difference. In the case of the 2007 incident at New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the church’s security team was on alert because of news of a shooting that took place the previous day and about 75 miles away.
At NACS, we believe it is important to monitor what is happening around us and share intelligence alerts with ministries so they may be better prepared.
Not all intelligence alerts involve violent situations. Alerts may also be sent out regarding financial scams, sexual predators, and any situation that may be harmful to ministries and their congregations.
We rely on local, regional, and national sources for intelligence information, including other ministries. For information about becoming part of our intelligence gathering and sharing program, please contact us.
