What Are Charter Churches?
Charter churches are selected by, and represent, NACS as regional leaders. They are organizations that have demonstrated good security practices and a willingness to share information and help train other local faith-based ministries.
The role of charter churches:
- Build regional partnerships
- Serve as regional ambassadors of life safety in churches, sharing “best practice” plans and information (including documents and tools)
- Coordinate regional intelligence information sharing
- Coordinate local and regional meetings, conferences, and training events
How Can the Charter Church Program Help Your Ministry?
Our charter church program helps connect ministries who need assistance planning and implementing a security team with churches who are further along in their journey. The program allows ministries to make connections, share “best practices”, documents, tools, and intelligence information as well as learn from the charter churches’ history.
With our charter church program, you’re never alone on your journey.
For More Information
We firmly believe that in order to be effective, security training, intelligence sharing, and life safety discussions need to occur at the local level. Our goal is to establish charter churches in five regions across the U.S.
