Our Mission
SAFETY. SECURITY. SERVICE.
The National Association of Church Security (NACS) is a team of professionals dedicated to maximizing safety and security in America’s churches and ministries through strategies, education, tools, training, intelligence, and networking.
Board of Directors
NACS is led by our Board of Directors and supported by our advisory council and charter churches. Each of our board members has in-depth experience and training in creating safe and secure environments for churches and ministries.
Advisory Council
NACS is forming an Advisory Council to be made up of a variety of individuals whose expertise range from law enforcement to ministry to equipment to training and more. As an organization, our intent is to rely on our advisory council as thought-leaders for feedback, suggestions for improvement, and direction.
Charter Churches
Charter churches are selected by, and represent, NACS as regional leaders. They are organizations that have demonstrated good security practices and a willingness to share information and help train other local faith-based ministries. We work with charter churches to reach out to other ministries in need of help organizing a safety and security team and plan. These other ministries can learn from the charter churches’ history and have access to their documents and tools.
